When: Thursday, January 16, 2020, 6:00 pm
Where: Moorestown High School STAR Center
JOIN US FOR A FREE WORKSHOP with Cheryl Crick, The Arc of New Jersey Family Institute The role of a sibling in the life of their brother or sister with an intellectual and developmental disability (I/DD) is as complex as it is meaningful. At all ages siblings need information, peer support, and an opportunity to discuss the future. This presentation will explore the sibling experience, common feelings, and how to best support and address the unique needs of siblings. "Typically" developing siblings 13 years of age and older are welcome to attend this presentation with their parent or guardian. Due to limited seating this event will only be open to families whose children attend MTPS, Moorestown residents whose children have an out-of-district placement, and MTPS staff. This is a FREE event, but we do ask attendees to pre-register to ensure enough seats & materials.
